Fresh Start began in 2002, established by concerned citizens, the UW-Extension Office and Honorable Judge Curry. The goal of the program was, and remains, to educate underage offenders about the risks and consequences of alcohol use. Please go to the registration tab above to start your registration process.

2020-2024 almost 600 Underage Possession/Consumption of Alcohol citations were issued in Grant County.
Students that have chosen to successfully completed the class and had their citations dismissed:

The purpose of this grant is to financially assist communities within Grant County with youth programs that are consistent with Fresh Start's mission to promote positive youth development through education and supporting alternatives to underage drinking. Application deadline for Post Prom activities is March 1st. Applications will be reviewed after that date. Late applications will not be considered. All other applications will be reviewed upon submission. Please submit your application at least one month prior to the date of your event, or you may not receive your funds in time. If your program is funded, please submit an email to the program explaining how the funds were spent and the outcome of your activity or program.
